Exhibitions At The Almonry
Throughout July we have an exhibition of bead-work jewellery by Katherine Woodman: intricate and finely crafted, these really are wonderful examples of the craft. Available to view and purchase from the front lobby.
In August, the craft exhibition will change to Lisa Perry, showcasing her handcrafted homewares and textiles.
During September 2010, a new permanent exhibition will be installed as part of the Archive Arts Evesham Mop Fair project: a piece of fairground memorabilia will be linked up to an audio recording of voices telling stories based on the memories of Evesham Mop Fair as told by members of the local community and Showpeople.
Also that month a temporary travelling exhibition will be unveiled that will rotate through other venues throughout the county: this will include details of how the fair has changed over the years, as well as it's origins, supported by photographs and short films.
